The Sellaronda Skimarathon, is a ski mountaineering competition at night through the 4 steps of the Sella group, is a competition for teams of two people. The race is reserved for experienced skiers in this discipline, since a high technical level is required.

The main equipment of the competitors are ski mountaineering skis, to which seal skins are applied in order to face the climbs, and fronts to illuminate the track that connects the villages of Corvara, Arabba, Canazei and Selva, which host the start and finish of the event every year in rotation,
