Description:

The Rifugio Capanna Piz Fassa is situated on the top of Piz Boè, the highest peak of the Sella Group at 3,152 metres, from where you can enjoy an incredible view of the Dolomites from Marmolada to Catinaccio, from Sassolungo to Tofane, from Puez to Civetta.

Open from 15 June to 30 September, it has 22 beds, 44 outdoor and 58 outdoor refreshments.

How to get there:

The easiest and most comfortable path starts from the Sass Pordoi cable car. It is also possible to climb to the refuge from all four Ladin valleys, Val di Fassa from Canazei, Val Gardena, Val Badia from Corvara or Colfosco, Val Cordevole and Arabba.

It can also be reached from all the passes of the Sella : Pordoi, Sella, Gardena, Campolongo as well as with numerous via ferrata: Piazzetta, Meisules, Tridentina, Creste Strente and “Lichtenfelder”.
