We welcome you to our house and to the splendid Fuciade basin, in the heart of the Dolomites, surrounded by the Marmolada Group and the Pale di San Martino. You can taste the Ladin cuisine, proposed with refinement and sophistication by chef Martino; stay in one of our rooms or in our chalet surrounded by nature. You will live a unique experience where warm hospitality, tradition and territory meet accuracy and research of details in an enchanted landscape. You will not just be a guest in a refuge because this is our home.

How to get there:

From Passo San Pellegrino, continue by car to the car park, one 500 m from the pass after the flyover connecting the two sides and another 3 km from the pass, following the signs for Val fredda-Rifugio Flora Alpina. In both cases you continue on foot along an easy forest road (40 minutes’ walk, difficulty T).

In winter we offer a paid service by snowmobile or snowcat. For those staying overnight, we provide a free car garage and transport service.

In summer there is a shuttle service in the evenings for a fee. Overnight guests can reach us by car at certain times with a special permit, which we will provide the day before check-in.

Hiking:

In addition to the easy and pleasant path to Passo San Pellegrino, you can follow a slightly more challenging route and arrive at the Costabella halfway up the mountain, and then reach the summit or simply stop at another of the cosy mountain huts on the pass. On the ridge of Costabella there are also some via ferratas with a breathtaking view of the Sella group and the Pale di San Martino, which retrace the paths of the Great War, passing from the Italian trenches to the Austrian ones, just a few metres apart. If you want to follow less beaten paths, you can enter the stupendous Belluno Dolomites, since the Fuciade basin is located on the border with the territory of the municipality of Falcade. Experienced hikers will discover that the refuge is one of the stages of the Alta Via n°2, which crosses some of the most spectacular places in the Dolomites, from the Marmolada to the Sella group and the Pale di San Martino, all of which can be reached with a little effort!
